Le canal cationique TRPM4 est connu pour participer au remodelage cellulaire, y compris \u00e0 la transition des fibroblastes cardiaques aux myofibroblastes, similaire \u00e0 celle observ\u00e9e lors de la st\u00e9nose de la valve aortique. Notre \u00e9tude \u00e9value l&rsquo;implication de TRPM4 dans les l\u00e9sions de la valve aortique induites par l&rsquo;irradiation. La valve aortique de souris a \u00e9t\u00e9 cibl\u00e9e par irradiation. L&rsquo;\u00e9chographie cardiaque 5 mois apr\u00e8s le traitement a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 une augmentation de la vitesse du jet aortique, indiquant une st\u00e9nose. Cette augmentation n\u2019appara\u00eet pas chez les animaux non trait\u00e9s. L&rsquo;analyse histologique a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 une augmentation de la surface des cuspides valvulaires associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une fibrose chez les souris irradi\u00e9es mais pas chez les animaux non trait\u00e9s. Les exp\u00e9riences ont \u00e9t\u00e9 reproduites sur des souris transg\u00e9niques invalid\u00e9es pour le g\u00e8ne <em>Trpm4<\/em>. Chez ces animaux, l&rsquo;irradiation n&rsquo;a pas induit de remodelage valvulaire.
